On February 2, 2010, WB and BBCAmerica release Dr. Who: The Complete Specials, containing the final five episodes with actor David Tennant in the title role as Doctor Who, whom many viewers consider to be one of the best actors to portray the good doctor in the entire history of the show. This stunning collection of Doctor Who specials - The Next Doctor, Planet of the Dead, The Waters of Mars and The End of Time, Parts One & Two - is a must have for all Doctor Who fans. The four imaginative, action-packed specials are the farewell both to star David Tennant and Russell T Davies, the creative mind behind the rebirth of the modern Doctor Who. The specials culminate in the dramatic regeneration of the Doctor, giving fans their first glimpse of the eleventh Doctor Who character, played by Matt Smith. The specials are packed with a great lineup of guest stars, including Michelle Ryan (Bionic Woman), David Morrissey (State of Play, Sense and Sensibility), Lindsay Duncan (Alice in Wonderland (2010), Rome, Under the Tuscan Sun), John Simm (Life on Mars), Timothy Dalton (James Bond), Catherine Tate (The Catherine Tate Show), and many more. Overall, the show is absolutely brilliant. And when you include all of the fan-tastic bonus material, this set is well worth the price to any Dr. Who fan.
