The Movieside Massacre 2013

his year, Movieside Film Festival returns with yet another unbelievable 24-hour horror movie marathon in Chicago, to be held from noon to noon, October 12-13. The Massacre 2013 will be held at the gorgeous Patio Theater (6008 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago) and trust me, this is one event you definitely don’t want to miss! Just check out this lineup:

Noon – Edison’s “Frankenstein” (with live organ accompaniment)
12:30pm – Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman
1:45pm – “The Cask of Amontillado” (short)
2pm – The Tomb of Ligeia
3:45pm – Martin
5:30pm – Dead and Buried (dir. Gary Sherman in Person!)
7:30pm – Roger Corman 50’s Trailer Competition
8:15pm –April Fool’s Day (dir. Fred Walton in Person!)

If that’s not enough for you, there’ll also be great things on sale in the lobby at the vendor tables, along with prizes, surprises, and a live charity auction for Vital Bridges (! There’s tons of free parking in the area around the Patio (I’ve never had to park more than a block away myself).
