The title may sound familiar to attendees of Terror in the Aisles 6 at Chicago’s Portage Theater in 2010. And indeed it should, for it was there that the horror/comedy short, “Devil in My Ride,” had its World Premiere. Two years on and Co-writer/Director/Producer Gary Michael Schultz has wrapped shooting on his epic, feature-length version of Devil in My Ride co-starring cult film icon, Sid Haig. Principal photography on Devil began in Chicago and Northern Indiana and culminated in Schultz taking his cast and crew on a massive cross-country road trip to capture the southwest and the Vegas Strip! “Making a movie is half about the experience,” Schultz asserted, “so why fake something as adventurous as a road trip?”

Devil is set to hit the festival circuit later this year, and with the film currently in post-production, we’re excited to announce that GMS Films has launched the official Devil in My Ride website and released their very first Teaser Trailer.

Synopsis: Travis (Frank Zieger) inadvertently curses his younger sister Doreen (Erin Breen) on her wedding day, and she falls under the possession of the devil. Travis and Hank (Joey Bicicchi), Doreen’s husband, must put aside their differences and get her from Chicago to Las Vegas to find the last know exorcist, Johnny Priest (Llou Johnson). Devil In My Ride also features actors Craig J. Harris, Rachel Joy Mazza, Benjamin Nicholson, and Sid Haig.
